Outside
- Check panel gaps and paint consistency
- Look for signs of past repairs or poor care
- Inspect tyres for wear and mismatched brands
Inside and Under the Bonnet
Test every feature and look for wear that doesn't match the mileage. Under the bonnet, check fluid levels and look for leaks.
Finish with a test drive and, ideally, an independent mechanic's inspection before you commit.
A calm, thorough inspection can prevent costly surprises and gives you better evidence for the purchase decision.
